Questions and Answers...

What is skin needling?

Skin Needling is a non-invasive, clinical treatment that uses micro needles to treat a variety of skin conditions ranging from ageing and pigmentation to acne and scarring.

Does it hurt?

A numbing cream will be applied to increase comfort when receiving a DermaStamp clinical treatment. Patients can resume normal activities almost immediately, but may experience some minor redness for a day or two.

What is the recovery time?

Day 1: Erythema and red appearance and severity will depend upon how aggressive the treatment was performed.

Day 2: A red hue or pink hue persists like a moderate sunburn. Swelling may be more noticeable on the second day.

Day 3-5: Skin can be pink or normal colour.  Swelling subsides.

The needle length and gauge of all DermaStamp devices have been specifically engineered to ensure the shortest and most comfortable recover time possible, whilst still ensuring maximum results and treatment longevity.  Immediately following in-clinic treatments, the skin may appear temporarily reddened, similar to that of a mild to light sunburn. Whilst some patients have reported that the skin remains red and slightly swollen for 2-4 days, there will be no scabbing or lesions present.

Who is skin needling for?

What results will I see?

Results may be seen even after one treatment. Patients report a firmer, softer, smoother, even-toned, more revitalised skin with a visible decrease in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduced pigmentation and sun damage, improved acne scarring, reduced pore size and acne inflammation.  The e DermaStamp machine  induces micro- needle punctures to the skins surface, as a result, the skin released growth hormones and healing factors that stimulate new collagen to be deposited under the skin surface.  The repair process will actually extend over a 12 - 16  week period after treatment and collagen will still restructuring up to 12 months post treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

Depending on the appropriate treatment plan prescribed by your therapist, an average of 3 treatments performed 4-6 weeks apart, with regular return visits are critical to the success of your treatment.

E DermaStamp has been designed for any person with  skin conditions such as:  ageing, pigmentation, scarring, acne and enlarged pores.
